Time for a christmas haircut.....time for change.

Some women grow their hair then once it is long they then decide to cut it off . Others have the same style for years and never change..boring! I have women friends who have never..thats right never changed their style. I must say that the ones that never change must have an idea they are stunning... are they in for a surprise.

A good cut with a well cut nape looks great and is very sexy... most men notice this type of cut.

This lady has hair that grows so fast she needs it cut and shaped every four weeks....... your friendy hobby hairdresser is very happy to oblige. She has beautriful hair in excellent condition and as such is a joy to cut.

A bare neck like hers is one reason why women should follow her lead and have regular cuts , she changes her style and as such is always interesting.

So all you women out there contemplating keeping your old worn out cut , think outside the square and have a christmas change.

To colour or not to colour that is the question.

Today my wife purchased a rinse to tone her hair to a brown tone , mixed the rinse and coloured her hair......I now have a carrot / red haired wife. She was a blonde colour.. or blonde highlites.

It was quite amazing she wore a green dress to go out and the colour looked great.

This is an area that I must learn more about as so many women want foils and colours.. if I could do them I would be inundated with clients.....( photos to follow. )
At the moment all I do is cuts.. preferring short cuts but can do most styles if requested.

As the man said....." I will return"... Sich.

A good hairstyle takes years off a woman's age.

I went to a family engagement party last evening and as I always do looked around the room at all the haircuts. I knew the age of most women in the room and thought to myself how a good well cut hairstyle takes years off a woman's age. Why do so many women take so little time with their appearance.. do they want to look drab and boring?

To prove my point this woman is 52 years old and looks many years younger.. this is what a good haircut can do for you. Yes I did this haircut.. not bad for an amateur even if I say so myself.

To cut or not to cut that is the question .

When a woman has grown her hair to this sort of length then the question of whether to cut it short or not is not as straight forward as it may seem . How long will it take to reach this length again .......will a shorter look suit .......does long hair make a woman feel more feminine ?

Usually after a few years most women decide to go for a short look. As a hobby hairdresser this suits my plan ...especially if you get to decide what will look the best. The above picture shows the length before the cut , the one below shows after the cut. Mmmmmm ! Not bad for an untrained hairdresser even if I say so myself. Lets face it it would be a poor state of affairs if the cutter did not like what he had done would'nt it.

I am new to this blogging so I may have put in this post twice.....ho hum... too bad so sad.

I have a cutting personality with women.

All my life I dreamed of being a ladies hairdresser , never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get to cut and style women's hair.

About 15 years ago I was lucky enough to get divorced , although at the time I thought it was the end of the world as I knew it. That was it I would never talk to women ever again , this was going to be tricky... I have a kitchen design business and guess who you do most of your talking to.

I met a most lovely lady , she is my soul mate.. how lucky can one get. With this woman I was able to let my secret desire surface. My partner said she could not see anything odd about my interest in hairdressing so my career started.

From fringe trims to now full haircuts for many women that I have met. Some of my women friends find my interest so intriguing that they ask would I cut their hair . I sometimes wonder if this is so they can see what sort of a job I can do or is it just that they like what I can do.

I have included here a selection of photos of what I believe is the most adventurous hair cut I have done , I love it .

This is my first confession to the world

I confess my hobby is cutting ladies hair ... yes I am a hobby hairdresser.

I have been cutting and styling ladies hair for about nine years and still have a passion for hairdressing .

I kept my interest in hairdressing hidden for many years for fear of ridicule.. I now tell the world what I do and take pride that I am free to follow my dream.

A broken marriage and some counselling allowed me to come out so to speak.. I now admit to all and sundry that I am a hobby hairdresser , all my friends understand.

When a lovely lady like this asks you to restyle her hair for a shorter look who would miss the opportunity?

What is the aim of this blog.. well there are people like me out there who feel trapped and are unable to explore their passions , by reading my story maybe someone else can realise they can achieve their dreams.

I intend to regularly post bloggs updating what I am doing with my hobby. Maybe there are some women in Perth Western Australia who would like to take advantage of my skills... I cut ladies hair for free.
